We are a family firm, and that has two practical consequences for anyone who hires us: the person who answers the phone is a partner, and your matter does not end up with someone you have never met.
Our main work is helping people settle in the Dominican Republic: residency by investment, by marriage, by retirement, by work or by study, and the road to citizenship. Alongside that we handle what the journey brings with it — buying property, incorporating a company, signing before a notary.
We explain the whole process before starting. How many steps there are, which document each one needs, how long it usually takes and what can go wrong. Without that, an immigration file is a black box you keep feeding money and paperwork into without knowing where you stand.
Clear figures from the outset. You know what you pay the firm and what you pay the State, separately, before you hand over a single peso.
We follow up. You should not have to chase us to learn how your file is going: if something is delayed, you hear it from us first.
We explain it in plain language. The file carries the language it must; the conversation with you does not.
We do not handle criminal matters. When someone comes to us with one, we refer them to colleagues who practise in that field: a criminal case in the hands of someone who takes one now and then is a bad deal for the client.
Nor do we handle Dominicans emigrating abroad. Our field is entry into, and settlement in, the Dominican Republic.
We do litigate real estate matters, which is where we have experience and results.

If residency by investment is your route, we can show you our own properties. You are free to buy wherever and from whomever you wish: the legal advice does not change according to where you buy, and if you choose another property we handle it just the same.
